Italy Part IV – Rome

We ended our vacation in Rome. I had been there a few years ago and was excited to be back and show Dillon all the amazing places. One afternoon, we walked the entire city to get to the Vatican. We didn’t take an ‘official’ tour but spent most of our time taking in the beauty from outside. On my original trip, I took a tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel and it was STUNNING. I would recommend it, however we were tight on time.

The highlight of Rome for us was seeing the Colosseum and Roman Forum. We used a private tour guide which was worth every penny as we were able to move throughout the sites at our own pace and avoid the long lines.
